The principal design is a portrait of President Chiang holding official documents in his right hand. The date of issue was the 69th birthday of the President. The Chinese character〝壽〞(shou) meaning longevity was, therefore, printed on the four corners of the stamp. The souvenir sheets (148 × 105 mm.) containing three face values were issued at the same time.
