Taiwanese Golden Horse Awards, sponsored by "Chen Shin Hsin Wen" Produced in 1957, this Taiwanese movie conveys strong nationalism by highlighting the "Wuso Incident", in which Taiwan's aborigines resisted Japanese aggression. 3.Oyster Girl: The first Chinese colored film to win "Best Film" award at the 1964 Asia Film Festival. The movie focuses on the lifestyle of people raising oysters along the coast central Taiwan, inspiring the creation of a healthy realism in Chinese movies. 4.City of Sadness: First Chinese film, produced in 1989, to win Best Film award at the 1989 Venice Film Festival.
